PQVault Versions

PQVault comes in three versions for your usage:

The Desktop Client (GUI) version allows you to perform cryptographic operations via a simple and easy-to-use desktop application. The application is available to both Windows and Linux operating systems.

The Software-Development Kit for Applications (SDK-API) version provides you a Software-Development Kit (SDK) to integrate PQVault with your applications programmatically allowing you to develop modules, programs and scripts to secure your applications with PQVault’s quantum-safe cryptography.

The Software-Development Kit for Applications (SDK-IoT) version offers a SDK as well. However, this version of the SDK is specifically developed and optimized to be used by IoT devices.

We offer you 3 distinct types of subscription plans, each granting you access to one of the PQVault versions.

Future-Proof Protection

Quantum-safe cryptography refers to cryptographic algorithms and protocols that are designed to remain secure against attacks from quantum computers. Quantum computers have the potential to break many of the commonly used public-key cryptographic systems such as RSA and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) by exploiting their underlying mathematical properties.

Quantum-safe cryptography uses different mathematical foundations, such as lattice-based cryptography, code-based cryptography, hash-based cryptography, and multivariate cryptography, that are believed to be resistant to attacks from quantum computers.

The transition to quantum-safe cryptography is important because quantum computers are expected to become more powerful in the coming years. Once they are able to break existing cryptographic systems, the security of sensitive data such as financial transactions and personal information will be at risk. PQVault provides encryption service based on post-quantum cryptography and deters possible future attacks from quantum computers.

Store Now, Decrypt Later

There exists a cyber-attack-strategy that you should be concern about and that is the “store/steal now, decrypt later” strategy. This method of cyber-attack utilizes existing technologies to obtain or capture encrypted data, then storing it. The data is indeed still encrypted and hence unreadable. However, this method relies on the premise that breakthroughs in decryption technology (with quantum computers) will crack the encryption of the data in the future and hence expose these data to be read at a later point in time.

In this way, attackers may specifically target data that remains sensitive far into the future e.g. financial statements, patents, trade secrets, then exploit decryption technology in the future to threaten their victims. The possible amount of information disclosed and leaked will be enormous which will in turn, may cause huge financial burdens to the victims.

What payment methods are there?

Pricing below Enterprise tiers are subjected to pay via Stripe, an online payment service. During the registration process, you will be prompted to provide your banking details. You will be charged monthly based on your subscription.

Enterprise tier plans will be paid via invoices. Every month, we will issue you an invoice and you will need to pay according to the amount stated in the invoice.

Can I change plans?

You can change your subscription plan, but only to plans of the same type. To subscribe to a plan of another type, we strongly recommend you to register a new account with PQVault.

Plan changes can be requested at any time; the change will take place immediately if you are upgrading to a better plan.

On the other hand, downgrading to a lesser plan will only happen after the billing date of the current month has passed.
